05/02/2008 Important Notice regarding Companies House Processing Functions and the Temporary Suspension of Services We are now approaching the implementation of the Companies House Information Processing System. This is a new system that will replace our old mainframe computer and give us more flexibility to develop our services in the future. This is a major change for us. Our aim is to keep disruption to our services to a minimum. However, there is essential work that we need to do between Friday 22nd and Monday 25th February 2008, inclusive. As a result the following services will be affected during the period. Note - We recommend that customers check this page regularly for any changes to the functions and services On- Line Services
* Please note that documents will be given the date of receipt regardless of when they are processed and appear on the output services. On-Line Services will resume at 9.00am on Tuesday 26th February 2008. Companies House Information Centres will be open as normal but the following services will be affected
* Same Day Paper Processing of Incorporations, Changes of Name, Re-Registration and Certified Copies will resume on Tuesday 26th February 2008. Companies House Contact Centre: The Contact Centre will be open as normal on Friday 22nd and Monday 25th. However the following services will be affected
* Software Filing Service
* All processing will cease at 3.00pm on Thursday 21st February 2008. All submissions that continue to be received will be acknowledged and stored. Processing will re-commence on Tuesday 26th February 2008. We fully appreciate that any interruption to our services during this period may not be welcome,. We hope that you will understand our need to do this in order to ensure a successful implementation of the new system.
