Refund for a copy of the Register of ChargesCompanies House used to make available a copy of the Register of Charges on our output services. This product was superseded on 1 February 2005 by the following products:
However it came to our attention that access to the old Register of Charges was still available through Companies House Direct and we have charged customers for this service despite not having a statutory fee in place. We have now removed access to the Register of Charges and customers who purchased this product between 1 February 2005 and 8 July 2012 are entitled to a refund of £3.00 per copy. Are all customers who purchased this product directly from Companies House between 1 February 2005 and 8 July 2012 entitled to a refund? Yes. How much will I be refunded? You will be refunded £3.00 for each copy of the Register of Charges purchased. I purchased this product from a third party supplier, will I receive a refund? Unfortunately as you purchased the product from a third party supplier, Companies House is unable to assist. You need to contact the company from whom you purchased the information. Companies House can only refund monies that were paid to Companies House. I have purchased full mortgage details of a company for £1.00. Am I entitled to a refund? No. The mortgage details product essentially replaced the Register of Charges and a statutory fee exists for this product. The refund is only available for any copy of the Register of Charges purchased between 1 February 2005 and 8 July 2012. Is the copy of the register of charges still available? No. The ability to order this outdated product was removed on 9 July 2012. However customer can still access the following information on corporate charges:
