The Registrars Rules

Under the Companies Act 2006 the Registrar of Companies is given authority to make rules governing certain areas in relation to the filing of documents at Companies House.  They are regarded as being secondary legislation, made under section 1117 of the Act, and include the form, manner of delivery and method of authentication for documents, whether delivered in electronic format or as a paper document.  Click on the links below to see the latest version of the rules.

Amendments to the Registrars Rules

Since the Registrars Rules came into force on 1 October 2009 they have been amended several times. Presented below is each of the amendments that have been made since, along with details of what they contained and when they came into force.
