File Accounts via WebFiling

You can now submit Dormant Company Accounts (DCA Format) and Audit Exempt Abbreviated Accounts via the WebFiling service. These two accounts types alone make up the majority of accounts filed at Companies House.

For information on the accounts type your company is eligible to file please see the notes on ‘Filing your Accounts’

The accounts are provided as downloadable PDF templates. To use them you need the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat reader.

How does the system work?

• Register / sign in to the WebFiling service.
• From the Menu screen select the account type you wish to download.
• Ensure your company meets the criteria provided to submit these accounts.
• If required, download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader.
• Download the accounts template to your PC.
• Complete the template off-line, save and circulate to the board of directors.
• Send the accounts online to Companies House by selecting ‘submit’ on the template.
• We will send you an email to confirm the accounts have been received.
• You’ll be able to save a PDF copy of your final accounts on your PC.
