Copy of, or extract from, an original Limited Partnership (LP) statement or application by emailIt has come to our attention that between 1 April 2010 and 9 January 2012, we had no power to charge for an application for a copy of, or extract from, an original LP statement or application which was delivered by email. Customers who received this by email between 1 April 2010 and 9 January 2012 are entitled to a refund of £3.00 per application. Q. Are all customers who purchased this product directly from Companies House between 1 April 2010 and 9 January 2012 entitled to a refund? Yes. Q. How much will I be refunded? You will be refunded £3.00 for each application made for a copy of, or extract from, an original LP statement or application which was delivered to you by email. Q. I purchased this product from a third party supplier, will I receive a refund? Unfortunately as you purchased the product from a third party supplier, Companies House is unable to assist. You need to contact the company from whom you purchased the information. Companies House can only refund monies that were paid to Companies House. Q. I received an extract from an original LP statement or application by post/fax? Am I entitled to a refund? No. Only those extracts which were delivered to the customer by email are entitled to a refund. There was a power to charge for those extracts delivered by post and fax. Q. Am I able to receive an extract from an original LP statement or application by email? Yes. On 30 January 2012 we set a statutory fee for this and we now have the power to charge for the delivery of this product by email. Q. Who do I contact for a refund?
