Energy Supply Company Administration

The Energy Supply Company Administration Rules came into force on 7 June 2013. Energy supply company administration is a special insolvency regime specifically created for the companies that supply gas and electricity in Great Britain.

Please note that these Rules do not apply to Northern Ireland or Scotland.
