Changes to Registrars Fees April 2012 (revised)
Following a review of our processes and services Companies House implemented changes to its bulk fees on 30th April 2012. This is to ensure that bulk product fees accurately reflect the costs of providing them.
As a Trading Fund, Companies House must operate on the basis of cost recovery. European law and HM Treasury guidance also require costs to be linked to the forecast costs for providing each service and the way in which customers can access them.
A review of our bulk product costs shows an overall reduction in cost, due to efficiency savings. We are passing these savings directly on to our customers in the form of reduced fees.
The only fees not set by statutory instrument are new products, bulk products, products that are in decline (e.g. fax copies) and newspaper proprietor search products. These have been administratively set under section 1063(5) of the Companies Act 2006.
Please note the Usual Residential Address full snapshot and daily update fees are not changing
