Companies Act 1985 documents: Removal of Software Filing option
Customers should be aware that from 1 October 2012 Companies House is withdrawing the Software Filing option for any documents submitted under the Companies Act 1985.
Companies House withdrew the equivalent WebFiling service on 22 April 2012 and due to the extremely low volumes of these forms being filed via Software Filing, the decision has now been taken to withdraw this service.
Customers will still be able to submit this information on paper.
In line with the withdrawal of the electronic service, Companies House has also decided to remove any fees associated with documents filed under the Companies Act 1985. Customers will be able to file any fee bearing document delivered under the Companies Act 1985 free of charge on or after 1 October 2012.
